    Improving Quality and Manufacturing/Product Safety

    Dongwon Systems is receiving international
    quality and food safety certifications in order to secure customers’
    trust in the safety of their food and establish a healthy cycle of manufacturing.

    • Acquired ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certification in December 1994
    • Acquired ISO 22000 Food Safety Management Certification System Certification in July 2010 (first in the sector of glass bottle, CAN and PET packaging)

  • SHE Enhancement Structure

    Dongwon Systems established a safety culture office in 2015 in order to enhance safety management.
    They are working on building management infrastructure for environmental safety (inspections of current conditions
    and education) and establishing strong values. We designated 2015 as the Year of Bringing About a Safety Culture
    and took initiatives to prevent accidents and build employees’ confidence in our safety capacity.

    Grand Prize at the 2015 Green Corporation Awards Dongwon Systems received the 2015 Green Management Award in

  • Establishing a Sustainable Supply Chain

    Dongwon Systems is general packaging corporations.
    Based on our business circumstances, we establish a pool of domestic and international
    corporations with the necessary expertise and capacity to supply the materials for our products.
    Then we select new suppliers. The selection progress is based on the criteria for evaluating
    new corporations, which is part of the purchasing regulations of the relevant division.

    Evaluation of Environmental Practices and Use of Toxic Chemicals by Suppliers

    Dongwon Systems supplies SHE self-evaluation lists to its suppliers so that they can prevent environmental safety risks and strengthen their management structure on their own. The checklist consists of 21 evaluation criteria and 10 categories, including industrial safety, emergency protocol, fire facilities, industrial sanitation, toxic chemicals and management of environmental facilities.

    Operation of Shared Growth Program

    Dongwon Systems is strengthening its partnerships with its suppliers through meetings (one was held in May 2016 with cullet suppliers) and information-sharing. We are designing programs for boosting quality and organizing technological exchanges in order to strengthen the competitiveness of our suppliers and achieve a realistic level of shared growth.
